I absolutely hate the hair salon towels at my favorite salon. They seem so scruffy and uncomfortable. I also don’t understand why it is always inevitable that the salon towels pull my hair. After they shampoo my hair, they always do a really tight wrap where they skillfully wrap the hair salon towel around my head and then tuck the corner up by my forehead so it stays while I walk back to the chair. The moment they tuck that piece into the salon towel, it starts pulling my hair. I try to adjust it before the stylist gets back to meet me at the chair, but I usually end up sitting and coping with the pain until she comes back to remove the hair salon towel from my head. It is weird, too because I wrap my hair up in a towel when I shower at home and I never get that horrible pulling effect. It only happens with the salon towels! Or just be comfortable with removing the towel altogether when I get back to my chair and just let them think it is weird!
